Reverend Sensei Jr - Vintage Clear (discontinued color, store demo), BLOW-OUT PRICE!
***THIS IS A STORE DEMO GUITAR, NEW BUT OLD STOCK. PRICED TO SELL, DISCONTINUED COLOR! WE ARE AN AUTHORIZED REVEREND DEALER, SOLD WITH ORIGINAL FACTORY WARRANTY.***
Do you like single pickup simplicity with your retro cool? Outfitted with one of our own CP90 bridge pickups, this hardtail set-neck guitar brings hot soapbar tone to the table. The rosewood neck, dot inlays, and gloss Korina body add up for more of that vintage vibe. With the bass contour control, the Sensei Jr. might be the most versatile single pickup guitar on the planet! A pure rock-n-roll machine that can spit fire or clean up for sweetness as needed.
Reverend designs their own proprietary custom pickups to achieve the best tonal match with the instrument. Reverend pickups are also specifically designed for each position, for balanced volume and tone when switching between pickups.
CP90 BRIDGE PICKUP
Vintage P90 personality cleaned up for extra sweetness. Clear, open, tone with reduced hum over typical P90. Ceramic magnets wound with 42 gauge wire and 6.5k ohms on the meter provide a quiet, delicious, buttery tone.
This passive bass roll-off is great for tightening up the low end, or re-voicing the pickups. It can make a humbucker sound like a single-coil, or give a P-90 that classic twang. Variable pickup voicing at your fingertips!
A thumbwheel under the tuner pushes a steel pin up through the post, locking the string in place for exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes. Also, the posts are custom height, eliminating the need for a second string tree.
DUAL-ACTION TRUSS ROD
Reverend’s dual action rod adjusts in both directions, allowing back bow and forward bow. This assures correct adjustment range is possible regardless of string tension, extreme climate conditions, or the effects of long term aging. It’s also located at the headstock for easy access.
All Reverend set-neck guitars feature a 3-piece Korina neck with 23 ¾” scale, 22 medium-jumbo frets and a 1 11/16” (43 mm) width graphite nut. The fingerboard has a 12” radius.
Reverend uses a graphite impregnated nut on all instruments. Graphite reduces friction, allowing the strings to easily slide through the nut slots, improving tuning stability.
Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-light weight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing our lively, responsive instruments that are rich in harmonics.

In 1997, working out of a small East Detroit garage rented from a local bicycle shop, Joe Naylor founded Reverend Guitars. Drawing heavily on an industrial design background, professional luthiery training and years as a guitar repairman, his guitars and basses quickly had people talking. A few years later Ken Haas joined the company as a booth demonstrator and followed his passion for Reverend to become CEO. Today, Joe remains Head of Design and Zack Green (Chief Set-Up Guru since 1999), still signs the headstock back of every guitar that comes through the shop. Over the years, Reverend has established a refreshing yet practical design approach, melding player-friendly features with timeless styling, outstanding tone and superb build quality to attract musicians of all levels and genres.
