Reverend - Pete Anderson Eastsider S, A True Hot Rod & Tone Machine, Satin Powder Yellow

This plank may look standard at first glance, but it’s factory hot-rodded and stage ready right out of the box. Country/roots-rock guitar legend and Grammy winning artist/producer Pete Anderson is well known for his vintage T guitar. Reverend and Pete Anderson worked together to modernize it while keeping faithful to the original character. Modifications include: chambered body (real nice resonance), stainless steel saddles, compound radius fretboard (10″ to 14″), "R" embossed knobs, and a push-pull studio switch in the tone control (turns on neck & bridge pickups together, allowing a total of 7 pickup combinations). An incredibly functional, stylish and a true work horse guitar for the stage and studio.

REVEREND PETE ANDERSON EASTSIDER S CUSTOM PICKUPS

Reverend designs their own proprietary custom pickups to achieve the best tonal match with the instrument. Reverend pickups are also specifically designed for each position, for balanced volume and tone when switching between pickups.

GREASY T BRIDGE

Slightly hotter and warmer sounding than a traditional T pickup. Fat tone but still has bite and a percussive attack. 42 gauge wire, ceramic magnet, 7K ohms.

SALNICO MIDDLE/NECK

Traditional S tone but slightly warmer sounding. Middle pickup is RWRP for hum-cancelling when used with bridge or neck pickups. 42 gauge wire, alnico 5 magnets, 6.5K ohms.

REVEREND PETE ANDERSON EASTSIDER S SPECIAL FEATURES

PIN-LOCK TUNERS

A thumbwheel under the tuner pushes a steel pin up through the post, locking the string in place for exceptional tuning stability and super-fast string changes. Also, the posts are custom height, eliminating the need for a second string tree.

BONEITE NUT

We use "Boneite," a synthetic bone nut, that is more consistent than natural bone, on all Reverend instruments. It reduces friction, allowing the strings to slide through the nut slots smoothly, improving tuning stability.

KORINA BODY

Korina (aka White Limba) is a medium-light weight wood, highly prized for consistency and tonal qualities. Often found in boutique and vintage instruments, all Reverends feature Korina bodies. A highly resonant wood, Korina is a key factor to producing our lively, responsive instruments that are rich in harmonics.

WILKINSON WVS50 IIK TREMOLO

Precision machined hardened steel base plate with locked down ultra smooth saddles to give years of trouble free performance coupled with Wilkinson®’s two pivot knife edges and two pivot posts for perfect return to zero. Fully adjustable vibrato arm for the choice of an arm that will fall away from the playing position or stay exactly where you want it. Combined this with the Reverend Boneite nut and pin-lock tuners, it stays in tune even under aggressive whammy action.

In 1997, working out of a small East Detroit garage rented from a local bicycle shop, Joe Naylor founded Reverend Guitars. Drawing heavily on an industrial design background, professional luthiery training and years as a guitar repairman, his guitars and basses quickly had people talking. A few years later Ken Haas joined the company as a booth demonstrator and followed his passion for Reverend to become CEO. Today, Joe remains Head of Design and Zack Green (Chief Set-Up Guru since 1999), still signs the headstock back of every guitar that comes through the shop. Over the years, Reverend has established a refreshing yet practical design approach, melding player-friendly features with timeless styling, outstanding tone and superb build quality to attract musicians of all levels and genres.
